My name is Johnson Dhakal a creatively minded person based on Kathmandu, Nepal. I am 20 years old, currently a full time student in Herald College Kathmandu studying Information technology and doing parttime designing and illustrating.

What do you think about Designing/Illustrating ?

As per my perception, I think designing or illustrating is an art that every one can do. Its not that people who illustrate are provided with this knowledge by birth, no its the hardwork and sleepless night of the designers that make them reach where they are standing today. I think our creativity is a bag of trash and the canvas we use for illustrating is a dumping site, now its on your hand weather you manage it or not 😉.

How did you got into Designing ?

When I was at the age of 6 we used to live in Far-Western-Development region of Nepal (Nepalgunj) I used to draw simple landscape images with houses, rivers and birds. I used to draw protraits of peoples on paper. At the age of 15 I was gifted an Ipad-pro 12.9 inch by my brother, since when I started drawing digitally.

What Device and Software are you using ?

I have been rocking Ipad-Pro 12.9 inch tablet and my dell i5 gen 5 laptop since 5 years for all my illustrations. Likewise I use Procreate app on my tablet and Adobe softwares like Illustrator and Photoshop in my laptop for my digital arts.
